The Lynx is an excellent introduction into shooting with enough power to satisfy all but the serious shooter. The 150lb draw weight is at the top end for a recurve  unless you venture up to hand built from Excalibur and Horton.  The Lynx packs a powerful punch and will send 17" bolts at over 200 feet per second.
