8 Important Points to Consider

When Buying

1.Can I speak to someone?

Before spending a lot of money it would be wise to make sure it was right for you. It is very easy to spend more than you need to and order one unsuitable for your purpose. We have freephone number and we welcome enquiries and are more than happy to advise and make sure you get the crossbow to suit you. Be very careful of an online shop with no number or a mobile number should anything go wrong you will have a hard time sorting it out.

2.Who makes my crossbow?

There are many cheap poor quality versions available on the internet which can be dangerous. If you buy a cheap budget model it could fire on it’s own and seriously injure or kill someone. We only supply products from major suppliers such as Barnett, Horton, Tenpoint and Excalibur & high quality budget models from Armex & Nemesis.

3.Where does my order come from?

With some other websites you order and then import it from the US or Asia which can take weeks. We have all of our products in stock and will take no less than 48 hours to arrive to your home. If your order is sent to you from outside of the UK you will be liable to duty and v.a.t. (up to 50% of the value of your purchase) if the delivery is stopped by UK customs. If the bow does not conform to UK specifications it will be seized. If you import a item you will have no warranty and no where to go if has a fault.

4.What happens if Iam not happy?

If your crossbow is faulty or does not arrive what do you do? If the online shop you bought it from does not have a tel no you are going to have difficulty obtaining a replacement or refund. If your order has been sent to you from the US you are very unlikely to receive a replacement. We have a 12 month warranty, if the product is faulty simply return it to us and we will send you a replacement.

5.How reliable is the supplier?

It is important to buy your crossbow from a reliable supplier, is the website you are using professional or just an extension to their ebay business? We have been trading for over 5 years with many very satisfied customers, we do not sell items on ebay.

6. Is the website professional?

Simple things give away poor websites like spelling and grammar. If the website looks unprofessional then it is very likely that the service will be the same. It is likely that they are an ebay trader who has set up a website and probably runs the site part time. Is there any information on the products or is it just a shopping cart?

7. Do they specialise?

If the website sells everything from knives to clothing then it is safe to say that they do not specialise in any one item.

8. What payment method do they use?

It is important that you pay through a secure portal when using the internet, genuine established websites will use well known high street banks such as Nat West, Lloyds & HSBC. If a site uses Paypal it generally means they are new or are unable to qualify for services from the large banks.
