I'm a live roleplayer and I've been offered a crossbow which I'd like to adapt so it would be safe to use on events. A maximum of 30lbs can be used on a larp bow. I've heard that there are games in Germany that use normal crossbows with low weight limb replacements. Do you know anything about these and where I can buy them?

what kind of limbs? you can try an overlength string, that will lower the power
